Valeska Soares: Tableau

 O catálogo da exposição Tableau de Valeska Soares em 2025, reúne  uma entrevista com a artista, reproduções das obras em exibição, além de referências e imagens de trabalhos históricos. Tanto a mostra quanto a publicação tratam de temas como ausência, presenças fantasmagóricas, impermanência e erotismo, por meio de três conjuntos de obras.  O título alude à dimensão narrativa presente na produção de Soares, em que cada peça funciona como fragmento de um enredo maior.

The catalog accompanying Valeska Soares’ 2025 exhibition Tableau features an interview with the artist, color reproductions of the pieces on view, references and images of historical works that relate to those shown. Both the exhibition and the publication delve into themes of absence, ghostly presences, impermanence, and eroticism, through three distinct bodies of work, while its title alludes to the narrative dimension of the artist’s oeuvre, in which each piece functions as a fragment of a larger plot.
