Janaina Tschäpe brings together paintings and photographs produced by the artist over the last ten years, in addition to critical essays, in Portuguese and English, by curators Germano Celant and Luisa Duarte. Janaina Tschäpe's work inhabits a malleable territory between reality and fiction, between the seen landscape, the remembered landscape and the landscape that becomes painting, the fruit of living memory. In this flow, the memory modifies the referent, thus producing a kind of delirious world.
