In 2011, Mauro Restiffe received the anual Banco Espírito Santo photography prize, granted by Pinacoteca do Estado de São Paulo and Coleção Berardo, in Portugal. The images that comprise the publication were taken in Tlatelolco, Mexico, reiterating the artist’s interest in historical events and architecture. The volume includes an interview with the artist conducted by Rodrigo Moura.
